Thoughtful about Germany
As an addendum to the previous post I want to write something about Germany. In Germany take place in relatively much weaker form similar processes, as in the U.S., so my impression. Therefore attenuated because we have here now a much better child-rearing practices, as over there.
I can as an individual do not really look all over and put it into context.
Derzeit fallen mir – zur besten Sendezeit - zusätzlich (sehr heftige, emotional-erschütternde und direkte) Filme such as " Brother Grimm " ARD from 10.30.2010 on, where as a child by his mother frequently abused man fantasized into a fairytale world and then some people - dressed as a wolf - killing to the final his own mother faithfully based on the story Hansel and Gretel to burn in the oven (all depicted directly), which had to watch him help a kidnapped girl ("Gretel") and. Am 03.11. followed - again in the ARD - the film "In quietly," it's about child abuse and a boy who was beaten to death by her own father and the mother had previously turned a blind eye for years. An investigating police officer, their own Neglected children and punishes is, in the course of their investigations and closer to their own abuse history from her childhood, finally breaks down and does end up in therapy. This film also dug deep into the emotional topic, as I have seen so far with no other films on the subject. Almost simultaneously, there are reports in the daily events to letter bombs and other terror threats.
Is the society in a significant crisis as mid-2009, seems the subconscious in a way to cap eliminated fears, "because we're all just victims," and there are no good public debates and images that occur in economically strong phases. Is The crisis threatens to end, growth must be found other fears that may be listed outside, eg in the form of fear of "foreigners". Only the real fear (that own victimization) in childhood may not openly come to light. Instead delegated suffering children be identified publicly as the beginning of the year by the Catholic Church and as now as in TV movies.
Again. I find it difficult to classify the concrete and to sort on. I hereby would like to encourage only to make it more thought. Similar processes as they occur in the U.S. are expected to continue to remain Germany spared. It could in Germany, however, come piece by piece, a very different process in progress or are, namely, real look at what has happened to most people as a child, same experiences of violence by their own parents. Possibly. The current path leads out with him that this is reasonable discussed in public, and do that as a clear look (not as a distraction) in the form of week-long media debate at all levels. Like I said, there is something going on in the country where this leads remains to be seen.
